Starcraft/Broodwar fix.

I want to install this old game on my laptop. Anyone care to take the time to tell me what fix works and what needs to be done to make it work? I have the original disks but I like to pack light and not carry around CDs for all the games when I use my laptop at work. I've tried the latest fixs for the game with the latestest update and failed to make it work. It seems there might be files missing on the latest NocD fix at GCW and Megagames but would like to confirm it with someone else just to make sure. I'd rather not make a mini image but if worse comes to worse I guess thats an option if it truely works as someone stated on a thread here in a search. I use to have the game on my main system many years ago and didn't think it was much trouble to get to work without a CD but I think sound files and maybe movie files, ect might be reqired. If so where do I add them and what needs to be done to get Starcraft Broodwars working for me on the run.......
