Where can I buy Fable, the Lost Chapters?

Greetings,

I noticed that quite a few people have released the crack to Fable, but I can't seem to buy this game at any retail outlets or online ones either.

Can someone tell me where to purchase Fable for PC?

Its frustrating that publishers dont give us a direct download option when the games go gold. The some powers that be seem to think its ok to do downloads a year later but not immediately. I personally will avoid direct downloads unless they allow us to burn to CD and install from that CD. But the copy protection industry would be out of a job and lose millions of dollars. UBI and EA both have online key checks for their multiplayer games and thats their best protection yet. The whole CD check idea only makes some sense for single player games.

I personally prefer Microsoft Windows XP system. Validate the key once over the internet or over the phone. Then again with major updates.

But until they decide whats best for us, we have to wait for the game to hit stores.

Up to the publisher to decide with the developers when the game will be released, if its september 20th after it goes gold then thats the date. It doesnt matter if you have to wait or not, that is how it is.


I dont understand where you got this, they let you download a year later thing? Very strange, perhaps you posted this in the wrong thread?? :P

Does anyone have any information about Microsoft's or Lionhead's reaction to this major foul-up? An article or interview or something? I mean, the game is pirated and cracked an entire month before official release. How did it get stolen? Any kind of info would be appreciated, I find this very interesting.

The game is a rather high-profile release also so it can't have gone unnoticed.

What repercussions will there be for the developer's/publishers?
