Is World of Warcraft any good??

Just want some honest opinions on World of Warcraft....I want to buy it but I don't want to if it isn't any good. I was disappointed with Everquest and I don't want to make another 45 dollar mistake!!!

Regardless of what many people might say, it's the same principal as the likes of everquest, 3d 3rd person engine, kill, gain levels, spells, commerce, etc... Im not saying its bad, im just saying that its the same principal.

I found it to be a fun game. I have recently stopped playing it about 2 months ago. I got burned out. They have added quite a bit of content since then as well. As with any MMORPG, there is always a lot of complaining in forums about what is wrong with the game, why a class is "Broken", etc. I played the game for a good 2 years. (I played alpha and beta before live). The game is certainly more quest friendly than that of EQ. Although as stated above, it is the same concept as EQ, or any other MMORPG out there. But I found the game to be pretty fun overall.

World of Warcraft stole a year of my life and ironically got me fired from Gamestop. It will take over your life, and just one month ago, I got out of the addiction.

The game is Alright. It has its Pros and Cons.

Pros:
-You don't lose exp while leveling, which in other games you lose a huge amount which pulls you back hard. I believe this is one of the best Pro that a MMO can have.

Cons:
-The Pvp just sucks, it so little and small, you need to be at max level to start enjoying some good pvp. They definitely need to work on this.

Other than that, it has a large community, everything is good, but then it gets old. Like Everquest, it was totally great in the beggining, then it turn old.
