help with bf 2 after instal the new patch

after i installed bf 2 new patch ( 1.01) i tried to launch the game, but it crashed to desktop. this never happen b4. help plz

i am currently using no cd crack

do i have to wait for the no cd crack of 1.01 ??

AMD Athlon 3000+ (2.16 ghz)
1 Gig of Ram
GeForce FX 5500
160 GB

No! You can use your original disc to play whilst you are waiting for the new NoCD.exe.

Original disk, or mini-image. I'm running the patch using a mini-image from gamecopyworld and it works fine.
