Port Royale 2 English version

My apologies if you're not meant to place requests on here..

I have looked and looked and only found german cracks for this game.

Is there anyone out there who is able to make a crack for the english version (1.1.0.62) of this game?

The german crack does NOT work with this game. The only way i've managed to get it to work is by using the two patches which converts the game to the german version (german menu's), which i can not read i'm afraid, and then apply the no-cd crack. Whilst the game then works, i can't read a darn thing and have no idea what i'm clicking on.

I would do it myself if i knew how. I even went looking for ways to do it myself but discovered you need decompilers/disassemblers, then unencrypter's and i've heard PR2 has multiple encryptions etc.. Definately not something a newb should really be trying to do on his first assignment :P The time it'd take me to do it and the time it would take someone who knows what they're doing to do it, would probably mean the difference between a checkout chick trying to build the eiffel tower and the actual engineer doing the same thing next door.. We both know how long THAT'd take!

Can someone please please please make an ENGLISH release of the crack?

I dint succeed to find a crack for port royale 2 1.1.0.62..
I found but its another version....You need to install the patch which is not possible to install... atleast in my pc..

I made a backup with alcohol..
I choosed datatype vob protectedcd v5..
I burned it with the same datatype and then i played it..
Dont forget to turn off RMPS special in this game..

I _think_ i may have gotten it solved. Perhaps if i'd read the instructions more carefully.

With one of the cracks i got, it came with the two german patches and the fixed EXE. The first patch wouldn't do anything but freeze at the end. The second patch would apply, giving you the new DLL (the one with the A in it).

From there, replacing the exe with the fixed EXE would give you the german language when you start it..

In frustration i did a bit of mucking around and tried the reloaded crack (second crack on the website that says it's compatible with all versions).

Low and behold i now get the english version!

So for those who wish to get their program running, its a bit of a run-around but it works. Sumarizing:

a) Install the English version of the game;
b) Apply the patch/s. In particular, the second one which adds the new DLL file;
c) Obtain Reloaded crack and apply that.

These instructions probably came with the crack itself, but at the time i had no way of getting the patch/s (didn't check here for them. Got them from eDonkey along with a german crack). Good luck to any others who end up with similar prob's.

...I have a problem with the english version of Port Royale 2..I don't have any sounds...It's stupid..The music is in the folder i can even listen it and when I enter yhe game..nothing...Anybody???

Read the FAQ on fixing problems with original games; also, complain at the publisher, not here!

This game also works with the gamejack thing If you don't want to loose your natal language this is another way the only bad thing is that you have to run it from the gamejack lanucher

Would like not to clone a lot of threads about this game (there are enough of them, with the almist the same questions ).

Is there exist a no-cd/mini-image for version 1.4.0.3 US?

mini image would exist for the initial version (presumably version 1.0)..
updated exe's dont update the disk signature, so mini image from initial release version should work...

no-cd.. no idea about...
