Question Need Help with EA Games

I have a DMS 3 chip in my v.9 PS 2 and the only games which i have problems with are from EA
The problem with this games is that i can boot them but everything is very slow , it takes minutes to load something everywhere.
For example when i play fifa street and i shoot a goal it takes 3 till 10 minutes till i can go forward playing.

Please don't laugh about my english I'm german :P

3 till 10 minutes huh?? It may be a dirty laser or a media issue. What brand are you using?

Yep - I agree with Warlock.

I have my backup of Fifa Street on Verbatim DataLife Plus DVD-R, and it is flawless

Some games are very different in the way they are read off the disc, which could explain what the problem is. Intenso ain't good stuff. Use Ritek or Verbatim media...

Before you waste another DVD-R, try to write it on an DVD+R.
I had the same problem with NFSU2 and my backup copy of it work 200% on the DVD+R.

+R aren't as good as a quality DVD-R by a long way. Simply use some quality -R such as Verbatim (just make sure they are DataLife PLUS and not just DataLife). Ritek G04s are just as good. Those, I'm sure, will cure your problem...

Lightbulb

i agree with lufcfan, the dvd+r's are a lifelong enemy of the ps2 laser, dvd+r's are better for dvd video backups
