Football Manager 2005 5.0.5 Online Game Need Help!!!

Hi there because of the news that there wouldn't be a no cd crack for version 5.0.5 i went ahead and used deamon tools and alcohol 120% to play the game which i did succesfully and easily BUT i have a problem i cant start a network game. it let's me choose all my preferences to start the game it then loads all the database but it then freezes just before it goes to the team select screen. in windows task manager it says not responding. i have tried allsorts even disabling all firewalls but nothing seems to work please help if you know a way of fixing this problem.

Hmm odd one.

I am taking it you are the host ?

make sure in game prefs u have ticked the box that lets you play online games.

also,sounds as if you are running the game on huge or large,maybe your system cant handle that.Try small database.

i have ticked run as server and i have tried to run the game on the smallest database with only 1 league running and it still doesn't work does it work for anyone one else

Do you try to host a LAN game or a Online-Game (Internet) ???

Online, it worked before i installed 5.0.5
