External hard drive
Hi, I would like to ask same questions concern sharing one external hard drive between two computers.
I have two computers on which I work simultaneously and I would like to share one external HD between them. My external HD has two kinds of connections. One is through Firewire and one as USB2. I try to connect to one computer with firewire and the other with USB2. It works fine but only with connection one at the time. Unfortunately despite many attempt I can’t make it work on both at the same time. My question is….it is possible to make such connections the way I try to do it or, if any, with support of any software-hardware? Many thanks for any suggestions,

assuming both computers have network cards in them (or onboard motherboard) just get one of those network cables (cant remember what there called) set up a lan, and just plug the harddrive in one of the computers and put it on share.
