Help me I am new !

Hello, I am french and i have a ps2. Today i put the neo on my ps2 and i buy dvd region x. I backup fifa 2002 us version and i have so many pb.
1/ dvd region X say that my ps2 is not compatible and i must enter a code. I go on the web, i enter the code and the code doesn't save.
If I try to boot the ea game (the only one backup i have) after pushing star the screen become black, the ps2 work a little and nothing, why ?
What can i do ? It is because it's an us backup and i have an euro console ?
What is the codes for dvd region X and how saving them ?
