Someone explain how do i back up my ps2 discs to cdr please there constantly getting scratched!

Get any cd burning program and do a disc to disc copy. For the most part thats how easy it is.

Do you actually need a mod chip or is ther something u can download that boots them without a mod chip? As i've heard of a ps2 boot cd

There is no working bootdisc that is freeware and available to download. Remember our rules about piracy here. And there is no boot disc that will load backups by itself. Best to just get a modchip.

Yup all talk about downloadable boot discs is a big BS rumor.
