CD-ROM thinks the image is too big...
I browsed the forum trying to find the answer to my problem but can't seem to find it so I'll post the question.
I've been making back-ups for a while but until recently I have had no need to make back-ups of my back-ups (disc-to-disc). For some reason when I insert a back-up in my CD-ROM drive it shows the disc is well over 80-min long and will not let me copy it due to the fact the media doesn't have enough space available. I can insert the same disk into my CD-R and it recognizes like it should, under 80-min. The correct meg-size shows up accurately even in my CD-ROM when looking at it through Windows Explorer but for some reason DiscJuggler 2.00.419 will not read right. Anyone have any ideas what may correct this? It takes forever to convert the backup to .cdi format then turn back around and burn again... mainly because the read speed on my CD-R is aweful. :/ Please help! Chakan |

Well there are a few things you can do. First of buy a faster cd-r
Or (I think this may help) use dj 3.X. Yes it works. I use it all the time. But since I think I havent answered your question correctly and Im to lazy at the moment to reach all the way over to my mouse to click the back button, Nor will I click backspace. If you realy want to backup your backup to make another backup of your backup then the just waste sometime riping it again. Go get some coffee, make something to eat, watch tv, take a shower etc. |

hehe... I didn't like your ideas... I came up with those myself. :P I know a friend of mine uses the same version of DJ I do and he can do disc-to-disc back-ups with no problem. I figured it may be a bad driver for my cd-rom or DJ just doesn't work well with my Memorex drive. Like I said earlier, my cd-rom accurately identifies the amount of space on the disk in Windows Explorer just not in DJ which makes me think it's the program.
I'll try DJ 3.0 and see what happens... thanks! ![]() Chakan |

Firstly..When usind DJ to copy never do "Disk to Disk" Always copy to HD first and then to then CD. And to answer your question, although I am not quite clear on what the problem is..but click on the "advanced tab" and then check "Overburn" assuming your CD-R supports this and then you should be well into the business.
Hope it helps |
