My PS2 canīt read DVD-Games

Since todays my ps2 canīt read DVD anymore. Theres no problem with cd based games, and ps one games.

I tried to adjust the lense based on Internet Documents ("How do I....") Itīs a V4 machine an i tried the correct FAQ Files. But it still donīt works.

I tried many different positions of the lense but thereīs always a knocking sound of the drive. 3 or 5 times knocking.

Could it be a lense problem if it takes only CD based games or not?

I tried every single position of the wheel at the back of the drive this didnīt work as well.

Now I havenīt got any ideas anymore and I hope you can give me some advice.

THX

Yeah like sawdust said you might want to try adjusting the pots on the laser to increase its power, but only attempt this if you have an ohm meter.
