sorry if i'm annoying! just a newb with a question

ok, I am using a dc-x bootdisk, but it is decoding to the wrong ntsc format on my weird tv. thus, i need to burn a disk that will allow me the option of selecting which ntsc format i need, or that automatically outputs the right one. does Utopia do this? if so can someone PLEASE talk me through the process of making one!> thanks

No such thing.

If you have a PAL console and it's outputting PAL60 which your TV won't recognise, you can use the action replay or gameshark to boot the game, which should output true NTSC. But if your TV only supports NTSC 4.43 or whatever and not 3.53 (I don't really know much about this stuff) then you certainly can't choose which.

Like I said, most likely your TV only supports normal NTSC. The PAL DC uses PAL60, which is NTSC timing with PAL colour system.

You'll need to use Action Replay/Gameshark/Codebreaker to boot in real NTSC mode.
