GTA: Vice City

I have made images to all the the instruction I can find, I have installed the game, I have tried everything..
I have searched almost all of the threads to no avail.

The problem: My gta-vc.exe file is 3.91 MB, all the No-CD cracks file sizes are 2.94. When I run the patches I get a file mismatch. Has anyone got a solution to this problem?

simply apply the patch before applying the crack.
the patch checks the size of the .exe, so its got to be the original one.

if you didn't make a backup of the original .exe when applying the crack, simply reinstall the game from CD (or perhaps the .exe is easy to copy and paste from the CD which will be quicker)

then apply the patches

then copy and pasted the cracked .exe (make sure its from the same version as the patch you just applied otherwise the patch changes will be undone)

It's even simpliar! Extract the cracked 1.1 version over the cracked 1.0 .exe file and you got 1.1 Version installed! All it contained it's a .exe file in that patch!

ah right, GTA III was like that, the patch only updated the .exe file, so using the v1.1 crack applied the patch for you.

i don't have Vice City on the PC, so i didn't know. that's why i gave a general guide
