Lightbulb

when i erased mi local disk i wanted to backup the save file that is located normally in: eagames/needforspeedu2/Sdata and i copied the sdat.viv file.

when i reinstalled the game, the profile appeared but the graphics where all corrupted, but because i changed video card.

i think that if you copy that file and later on replace it you can pass your profile datas.

2/ NFSU 2

By the way, guys, you might wanna try my savegame dir patch. I really hate it when softwares put their files into the user's home directory rather than, as older games do, into the game's home directory. Therefore, I always make patches that revert games into "single user" mode - in this case, all configuration and savegame data is written into the "SAVEDATA" subdirectory of the game's home directory. Several games proved to work fine this way. Have fun,

Joe
