Media question

All the guides for backing up DVD Ps2 games take account of using DVD-R media. I have a large spindle of DVD+R that I use to backup DVDs that play on my PS2 but I have not had any luck getting a DVD+R PS2 Game to play. I use a swap magic 3 with DVD decryptor to make the iso/burn, is the DVD+R media my problem. I think i am running a V5 PS2, it is a 3001R with the electrical warning stamped on the bottom.

So the movies you have backed up play on those +R discs, but the games don't? Well, games are harder to read than movies, and that's why Princo are good for movies and jack all else (providing they don't go near your PS2 )

It may just be a case of poor quality +R media - try some good -R and that should cure your problem.
