Why Verbatim can kiss my emeralds and how can i get stuff back??

Hello Whizzkids.
I have a verbatim super azo CD-R disc which i happily had data saved to. I recently put some new data on the CD which has resulted in the original importanto data disappearing (may have spelled disappearing wrong - may have spelled spelt wrong too). How can i read my other data again. There is no way it could have been wiped because it is not a CD-RW, can anyone help me pleeeeaaaaase? I would contact Verbatim but they seem to haveth no website, hmm, convenient. I did try searching the CD with R-Undelete as a panic, ooh my head isn't working properly kind of scenario, but that didn't work.

Try 'R-Studio 2'. Ive used this before to recover an accidentally formatted Harddrive but I think from memory it does CD's and DVD's as well.

It sounds to me like you burned a multi-session CD without importing previous session data. Reading fist session is a piece of cake. Get Isobuster and select the first session, Select all the files in the first session and extract them back to your HD. Also, plenty of other burning software will let you extract the first session.

Why would you even consider contacting Verbatim? (Incidently their website is not at all hard to find, a combination of www, verbatim and com will find it)
They may have produced the cd but are in no way accountable for the way you use it.

I think he was talking about contacting the people who make R-Studio 2, not Verbatim.

That doesn't seem to me to saying anything about contacting the people who make R-Studio 2.
