The Incredibles - Pal - Protected ??

I was surprised when my backup didn't work but even more so when the original didn't either It hangs on the loading screen for the very first level.
The only thing i can think of is the game is detecting a mod chip and refusing to play the game. I'm using a V4 PS2 which is fitted with the Neo4 chip, never had this problem before with any other game, original or back up.

Anyone got this game and are running it successfully with a modded PS2 ?

Yes i have a matrix infinety chip and made a straight copy in Nero and game plays fine...

Took the game back to the shop and got a replacement and that does the same, select new game and it will start to load the first level it will then freeze after a few seconds.
Time for an up to date modchip me thinks, pretty damn sad though when even the original don't play.

im gonna get this game in a few days i post my results man. You should really get a new ps2 chip which is more up 2 date

Which neo4 chip do you have?? the 4 wire PCB version or the 44 wire install? Neither version is very good, some games must be patched to load and it doesnt direct boot dvd-r. You definately need to update to a Duo2 se or better.
