Just a few questions about going on line and playing network games.
1. Can I use a back-up copy to play? 2. Where would I find people to play against? Thanks in advance for any help.

Answers:
1) Yes you can play backups online. 2) You click play online, it auto connects to the offical ps2 online game server, their you join a match (depending on game) and you play online Socom 1 and 2 are the best online PS2 game in my opinion. Halo 2 is best online game on xbox

Don't you still need to patch the DNAS into the backup to make it work online (If DNAS enabled game). Just need to make sure or clarify...

Yes, you must patch the DNAS to make the back up work online. Why don't you just try and get online before asking all these questions about finding people online to play?
