N E 1 Tried Ritek G05 on A05 Burners?

As Topic says has anyone tried without Firmware update?
While back anyone that owned A03 or most 2x Burners who plans to use G04(4x Discs) had to update the firmware otherwise could take the risc of damaging the Burners..
Wondering if it's same way again with G05's(8X Discs) for A05(4x Burn) Burners..
