two disk games

will a 2 disk game work on a hard drive. I just downloaded both disks of star ocean 3 as 2 different games since I can't download both disks together. I think that at the end of disk 1 it will ask you to save then switch to disk 2 so I thought that after I save I can reload the HDadvance disk and load disk 2 from the hard drive but I'm not sure.

I think cloud19896 meant he ripped both DVDs to his PS2 hard disk with HDLoader, not downloaded, as in downloading from the internet. Poor choice of word, particularly here on this board, but it's probably an honest mistake. Mods should give the benefits of a doubt.

To answer your question, cloud19896, your method should work, but if it doesn't, you will just have to play the tiny bit of game between the last savepoint on DVD 1 and the first save point of DVD 2 using the real discs, instead of the hard disk. Not a big problem.

i figured that was what you ment, i have a friend that refes to installing a pc game as downloading it. next time you may want to say installed instead of downloaded so there is no confusion.
