Unable to Read CD's
I have added an X2.3bLite chip into my 1.4Xbox. Works OK flashed ok
When i put my backup in it has a hard time reading the game and sometimes has a hardtime reading an original game. If i try the chip off it reads the original straight up. Then i turn it back on and it will read the original and then read my backup. Sometimes if i turn my xbox off and turn it back on it has a hard time reading the backup again What can i do to fix this Thanks DU |

The only thing that would cause that problem is the dvd-drive itself. Either replacing it or doing a pot tweak is all that can be done. Although, pot tweaking can render the dvd-rom useless and not read anything, but i would attempt it if you plan on buying a new dvd-rom.
On a side note about "cd's", not all dvd-roms read them, mainly, thompsons don't.
