Battlefield Vietnam exe fix...need help

I have my version of BV updated to the 1.1(1.1.14) and downloaded the exe fix. Unzipped and replaced the new exe with the old exe but upon using the fixed exe i still get the insert CD error. Is anyone else getting problems like this?

there is no 100% working no-cd fix for BFV on GCW.

maybe its a FIXED EXE wich means u it works with a copied cd but not without a cd.

I have no problems with using the fixed exe's out there....I had problems with the one on game copy world by vengeance though" .

I downloaded the fixed exe by joker.....used a 1.02 mod.dll file.....and placed the bfv.org....which is what I don't hear from too many people.....you have to place both the fixed .exe and .org file into base directory.

I didn't at first, thinking the .org was just the original exe of the game...and didn't need to be in the directory on the hd....... I was wrong.....before I fixed this problem.....I would only connect to linux servers.....no windows dedicated or direct.

Now, I can go on any servers.....and I have no problems....I was getting kicked.....alot....before I was getting in servers...but it was because my name was player. {like 4 straight...changed name, went into same servers that kicked me....but with new name....I was in....paranoid people of hackers and cheaters the bfv community is}

I have no data error problems of anykind....no kicks no nothing...works perfect.........I finally bought a dvd burner and have converted almost my entire collection....which is like every game you can think of.....to dvd.

This is why I'm posting now........so late......but it was fun.....fitting 3,5, and even 6 cd games to one dvd is great.

yes, ppl often dont see that the org file is required!
when connecting to a server, the server checks the crc of you bf.exe. cracked exe = wrong crc = data differs from server.

special thing is that the cracked exe reports the crc of the .org file _if it is available!_
right crc = connection to server allowed.
