It will work WITH ONLY CERTAIN BRANDS of the normal flash drive. I know for certain kingston data traveller and sandisk cruzer works. (some crap shintaro doesn't)

Be careful as I tried with my USB MP3/Flash card and my PC no longer can recognize it so it has basically broken it

Never try USB cum MP3 player combo..it's way too risky to try. getting a cheap usb 2.0 pen drive is safer
