M$ dash question
hey guys, got a question about msdash skins. i see them on AXS (http://www.allxboxskins.com/skins/in...p=msdash&cat=0) and i know how to install them (open up winxip and replace some .xaps here and there) but what i want to know is can i: 1. replace the .xap files, rexip the archive, ftp it to my xbox, and then, 2.when i boot my xbox with my modchip off, will i be able to see the skin? also, 3. will i be able to go on live with it or will M$ detect a difference in the .xip and .xap files.

Look for the hacked dash called THC Lite. It has an easy color editor, better skins, and more features. Skins are easy to replace, since they made a completey seperate file (meaning you just replace the old one, no xip/xap editing needed unless you make your own skin)
2. You will get an error if you boot to the dash when your chip is off. You must name it something like dashboard.xbe, and edit the chi pbios to boot to it first. 3. Cannot go online if this is your default dash, since your xbox will frag with the chip off. You need the original for live.
