Optical Out (laser)
Hey guys,
I just encountered a major problem with my V9 PS2. Suddenly, mysteriously it does not wanna lay ANY discs! It's new almost 5 months old only. I have been playing constatntly no problems until today. Yesterday i played with no problem. Just now this happened. So, I check the back of the PS2 and a RED light is flashing "Optical Out (laser)"! Then I turned off the Optical Out (laser) option OFF in the system configuration, and still not workin! So I deleted the system config. save and removed memory card, and still not working. Now I need your help guys! Thanx alot  Nino

UPDATE...
I opened up m PS2 and adjusted different levels of voltage for dvd and cd. I even cleaned the lens. But I found out that only DVD games don't work. CD games work fine. So i am wondering now what problem is it now? I Dunno! Please help. Thanx Nino

Ahhhh,
you may have tweeked the laser to much or you have v9 syndrome which aint good
