you can make selfboot disc in XP with the echelon method. you can find the guide at http://www.megagames.com/dc

you also need cdrecord and mkisofs to make the iso and burn it to cd.

with bin2boot, it is hit or miss when trying to read the burned cd in your pc. some drives can read them, some cant. you can try it out and see if your burner can read it.

what you do is binhack the bootbin to lba 0, then make an iso out of the files, then use bin2boot+gui. it will make a .cdi image to burn with discjuggler or a120. or if you have probs with those apps, try cdi2nero to convert the cdi to a nero image to burn wiith nero 5.5.10.56.

to make the iso, it is mentioned in the echelon tutorial. go to the site and download the .zip. the other tools, (bin2boot+gui, cdi2nero) can be found there as well.

In the case, i'm tried one time to make an self-boot disc with the Echelon's Method and doesn't work. =(
Well... it works only under Windows 95 / 98 or ME with ME (my recorder only worked with cdrecord on these sistems).
Some persons says that make an self-boot disc with the Bin2Boot works 100% in all systems. =)
I'll try it, thanks again! \o/
