hi,

took your advise and avg found 5 viruses

downloader.agent.as (found twice)
startpage.3.d
downloader.alchemic.a (found twice)

i wonder why norton antivirus didnt find these?

i tried to find out what these viruses do but cant seem to find any info
about them on virus websites.

Nortons Antivirus is good only some of the time. I used it for a long time but was referred to avg by a friend and it kinda made me lose faith in the good ole Nortons. I think Nortons needs to re-invent itself with better protection.
