If you read the sticky topics you will find that you extract the files from the RAR archive using WinRAR

RincewindTheWiz is on a distinguished road
More importantly, use the LATEST version of WinRAR. If you can only see the nfo file, you're using an outdated version of WinRAR.

hmm... winace is a program, which can be used to unpack almost every packed file (zip,rar,tar...), but i experienced, that some rar files were not extracted, so i recommend to use winrar for rar files and winace for all other formats (except winzip on winxp!)

Correct, most of the new RAR files are zipped with RAR and when zipped with a newer version of Winrar, the files cannot be read by winace. Just adding that in.

I use winrar 3.20 and no problems with any archived files.
