Dvd X Copy

I have been using DVD X COPY to back up some of my movies. The copying all goes fine but the copies all “freeze” for a few seconds every now and then. Could it be down to the media I am using??

Can any one recommend better software that I could try??

I am using a Pioneer D107.

Thanx

DVD Shrink (One of my personal favorites) or the CloneDVD2/AnyDVD Combo (Tyler's Fav.)

If you are going for quality (over speed) then you should check out The Big 3 it is a process that is creates almost perfect quality backups and keeps a functional menu. But, this process can take DAYS unless you have a brand-new comp (3.0+ GHZ, 1 GB Ram, etc)

P.S. Use DVD Decrypter as a free DVD ripper if you don't want to spend the $ on AnyDVD.

With DVD X Copy Platnium, I use to have that problem using any other brand of media but Ritek\Ridata about 50% of the time, infact sometimes the movies would even freeze up at a certain point, usually toward the end of movie. I now use other programs than DVD X Copy but have never used any other brand of media except Ritek\Ridata since DVD X Copy so I can't really single out that program as the cuase. Personally I think the media makes a big difference when it comes to DVD movie backups.

Yer, thanx for that mate. I have since copied to good media without a hitch. I had the same "freeze" thing at the end of some movies too.

Thanx again for the help.
