Odd and bizarre.....
Hello BOARD! It's been a bit hasn't it? been a bit of an uphill stuggle with my new PC. Hopefully haven't missed too much. Anyway something odd happened today and I'm wondering what M$ has done now and if a new media check has been put into play. Anyway....
I made a back-up of red dead revolver and it plays perfectly, so i figured while my gf worked on her website I'd keep playing but her modded xbox (a v1 with the egimah chip) didn;t boot the game and I got a disc dirty or damaged error.....I kept trying it but it kept spinning then stopping like it was checking for something. When I originally backed up the game I tried patching the default.xbe but it said there was no media check to be found.... Anybody have a clue? |

actually, i used to get that error quite alot, a long while ago. You will probably have to try different dvd media. That seemed to fix my "dirty or damaged" problem.

well I've used the same media for her backed-up games as well as mine and it's only the newer ones (about a month or two). The clock is set right and everything.
