Anybody got some advice please? My dvd hangs in write mode when I'm backing up my DVDs, and only DVDs. I can back up my PS2 games and it will read and write to a DVDRW. Disks i am using are bulkpaq 4x but only write with 2x. Used about 35 plus from this batch and only started playing up. It backs up onto CDRW and will do CDRs. Could it be hardware of software?. I am using recordnow max, Win xp pro, and nero 6 plus easy cd 6 sometimes. it halts on any percentage of the write, i.e 35%, 85%, not any specific area of a disc. I've defraged my drives, put the DVD as master drive on its own (I dont do on the fly), so I stuck, i hope its not my drive as its justs over a year old, it is a pioneer dvr 105.
