Well the only person that can decide this is you but here are some facts that may help you decide. The DMS3 is a good chip although with its new 1.8 flash there are a few bugs. However DMS3 is suppose to be coming out with a 2.0 flash that they say will be addressing these issues. The DMS3 has some good features although the average gamer will never use these features and paying the high price for these extra features isn’t justified to me.

All that the average gamer cares about is a reliable chip that will boot everything and not hurt the console and comes at a decent price. This is where the Magic V, Apple Pro, and Duo chips come to the rescue; they do all of this at a great price.

There is one thing to consider though, if you foresee the use of the new HDD wait to see how the DMS3's new 2.0 flash handles the HDD, they claim the mod will be able to be used with the HDD which no other chip on the market has made this claim yet.

So do some thinking and check your pocket book and ask your self what do I really want and what do I really need.

Good luck.
