10 MBit Ethernet

I know you guys have heard this B4 but, when using Lunix on the GCN it DOES enable the GCN to trans @ 1.05 MBPS.

"27 February 2004: Ethernet fully functional at 10 MBit hamtitampti fixed the Ethernet driver, we now have stable TCP/IP traffic at rates of 1.05 MB/sec - and NFS-Root works flawlessly"

go here for more info.

1.05 MegaByte Per Second * 8 = 8.4 Megabits PerSecond, plus some overhead from the network and its still around 10 Mb/s.
Even if u can get the adapter to urn at 100 Mb/s, the GC still cant communicate with the BBA cuz the connector to the BBA support 54 Mb/s.
