CD/DVD writers and copy protection

Currently I have a Asus 5224A CDRW burner, I mainly got this burner because it seems to be good at burnign through most protections.

However, some of the latest protections are unburnable with this burner. I realize that its not possible to make a 1:1 copy of every PC protection out there, but currently what do you think is the best CDRW and DVD+/-RW burner out there in terms of reading and burning cd and DVD protections?

At the moment I am kinda holding out on buying a DVD burner until Dual Layered and Dual Format ones are out (Dual layered dvd burners are goign to come out in 1-2 months but they arent dual format, annoying companies each trying to push their own standard >.<)
