Question playing/converting .vob files

What player will play vob files besides Power DVD? (Power dvd locks up my pc).

Is it possible to convert the vob files to something smaller to fit on a CD and be played with media player?

WinDVD will also play DVD Files. Just make sure they are in a VIDEO_TS folder and choose the option to play from folder.
