ASPI drivers???
Hi
Windows should have placed a set of aspi drivers on my computer when i first installed...they are they...sorta...aspicheck says its wnaspi32.dll and wnapsi.dll are version 1.00, and apix.vxd is version 4.00. But it seems i havent got the file aspienum.vxd installed. The recent ASPI32.exe from adaptec will not install the new drivers cos it say I have no qualified adaptec product on my system!! What can I do???!! |

Do a net search for a little program called ASPI_ME This is a not so-legit set of aspi drivers. Somebody out there actually fixed em and was distributing them before Adaptec got all huffy and threatened legal action. If you find it for download and use it, it will probably tell you that it's expired or something of that sort. No biggy, just set your system clock back a few years and do it again. Should work fine that way. That how I got DJ working on my system without ever installing Adaptec software.
