fpt prob

hi all i just got a new modem netcom 1300nb now i cant ftp my games to my hdd my guess is cause it has a router in it i have it setup through usb and my xbox conected to a ethernet card every time i try to connect it says connection timed out how do i fix this

What is your network setup? How many NIC's do you have? If yor xbox is hooked directly into your PC's network card, then you need to make sure and do 2 things:
1. Make sure you're using a cross cable
2. Give your PC an IP address.

ok i have a netcomm 1300nb modem it takes usb or ethernet connection so i put the main on usb my second pc on ethernat straight from the modem then i have my xbox connected to the onboard network socket using crossover cable hope this helps

btw what do u mean give my pc an ip?
