DMS3 V9 standard or online pack.
I'm thinking about buying a premoded ps2 DMS3 from socalmods and my question is for the sake of the modchip should i buy the online pack version or the standard version or is there no diffrence between the console that comes with the online pack and the standard v9.

I think he is wondering if he should "TRY" to get the online pack which "MAY" come with a V7, or should he just get a V9 ... and yes I'd go for the online pack if it comes with a V7.
Also, ... Theres no such thing as a "PS2 MODEM" ... its called a Network Adapter.

. Anyway I think socalmods stated awhile back that all current premods would be V9's but I could be wrong.

What is socalmods? Website? Forum Member?
If "it" only has V9s, I wouldn't bother buying from "it" I didn't want him being anymore confused then he already made me, ... so I fixed ya

![]() Also www.socalmods.com is another modchip installer. Just looked at there page and yes all there premods look to be V9's. Also I wouldnt worry about it being a V9 its not that big a deal here in the USA.

well, I just wanted to know if the systems were diffrent, like the online pack version had a built network adapter or something. But it turns out it's just a ps2 with a network adapter thrown in. kind of cheap if ask me you would at least add a headset and stuff.
So, I guess I'll just buy the standard, but before I do the price for a NEW v9 with dms3 is $305 at socalmods is the best that it gets. |

The Online Pack isn't actual put together by socalmods, ... its put together by sony.
You can always get the network adapter for $30 dollars, later. If I was you, I'd install the mod-chip myself, and save tons of money.
