Volume label for iso image

Is there a way change how many characters are allowed in the Volume label?

I ask because now I am limited to only 16 characters in the Volume, where before I could make it as long as I wanted.

I have a Dreamcast game that has the Volume as Super_Street_Fighter_2_X
That's 24 characters long.

Now I can only have Super_Street_Fig

I don't remember changing anything anywhere. Any burning software I use (whether cdrecord, cdrwin, DJ, Nero) now limits me on my volume. How can I change this?
