You say you used Xbox Live with modded machine. If you went live it might have corrupted the dash, hence will not boot.

But first off get the linux bios off your chip (cromwell) as it wont boot unsigned code, thus you having problems booting evox and everything else for that matter. In order to this you need to make a boot disk with a X2's bios. Cannot tell u were it is, as it's illegal.

Go here for help on making the disc http://www.xbox-modchips.com/tutoria...e-cromwell.htm

I suggest also, that you make a evox disc using the data burn method instead of doing an ISO. (Stickys). In addition, make sure your FTP settings are correct. If your using a crossover cable PC2Xbox set it to static IP address.

Hope this helps!

mmm?

If you just have the original MS dash and backups and orginals play. Sounds like it's okay and is just a problem with your evox disc that your making.

Make it using a dvd-r if you have a dvd burner, as the xbox can be tricky when reading cd-r/w's unless you have a samsung drive, which are better for reading cd-r's. If you make a disc create some dummy data (random files in a folder 400Mb worth) and put that in the root of the disc along with the evox files. That way the xbox has a better chance of reading the disc. In addition, use (Dudes) data burn method instead of making an iso.

Like i said before make sure the settings are configured correctly for your pc and also in the evox.ini. Read Sticky on the forum.

See if that helps!

Glad to see your finally getting somwhere. Regards to updating the bios, the answer is 'Yes'. Just follow the instructions given from the site i gave you. Or you could just install evox and flash the bios from there, as that would be the quicker and easy.

Give me your E-mail address and i will help get the latest bios.

Yeah i agree with you there, as it is good for begginers. I just prefer to do things manually, as if you F**k up it's easier to rectify most of the time.
