Games from HDD

My HDD is the original 8 GB and id like to put my DOA X Beach Volleyball on it after patching it and I'd like to know if there's any way of removing videos and the stuff to reduce the game size without corrupting it cause the Evox use half the hard drive.
My DOA is original but i dont have how to make a backup patched cause i dont have DVDR...
Is there ne way of doing so or I'll just have to get a DVDR drive?
Moreover I just wanted to see how it looks. I'd delete after some plays cause all I heard was bad critics bout this patch and i barely play this game, most focused on Sonic Heroes and PGR2.
