PS2 Mod Chips Local Stores....

I need to know if there are any Stores local to me that I can find PS2 mod Chips in. I live in Southern California Right now, Between San Marcos and San Diego. I don't really have the urge to buy one off line, the Shipping and all that is just too much trouble. If anyone can help me with this, then that would be great! Thanks!

Oh, you mean there are no stores I can find without having to Order it off of the internet? How about any in Portland Oragon. I will be going there sometime really soon. The place is right next to the Vancover Washington Boarder.

Its highly unlikely that stores will be selling them. Its too contriversial a subject and Sony is guaranteed to try and debate it.

Oh. ok. Well I guess if I get a chance, then I will try to find a good place online to get one. I also need to know what I need to Make a backup for my PS2 game. This is the second GTA Vice City game I have because the other one has broken and I don't want it to happen again.Do I need some sort of special PS2 burner or just a regular DVD+R? Or was it a DVD-R? I already read the Newbie's guide.

Portland huh? I am about 20 mins away.

Any dvd burner will do, but most are dual format now, -r and +r. Pioneer is a favorite of many peeps here, including myself.
