I scratched my favorite dvd what can i do

I have this wakeboarding dvd and i watch it like once a week this weekend i was pulling it out of the dvd player and accidently puched the door closed in the process, thus the dvd was jammed half-way in the door and put a large scratch on the disk and now it skips alot. Is there any way i can get a back up copy with out rebuying the movie?

Try using car polish and a soft cloth to polish off that scratch. If its too deep you may have ruined your movie.

DVD X-rescue worked for me in that same situation. It came as a packaged deal with my DVD-Xcopy platnium software.
