Divine Divinity: Has anyone ever played a whole game with the no-CD in place?

I heard in the Larian forums that the cutscene where you become the Divine One will crap out if you are using a no-CD crack. Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi doctor_kaz, can't the people, who said this, supply a save game, made just before the crash, to prove their statement?

I played the whole game with a NoCD and I don't remember any problem like that.

And if it does crash at that one spot, you could always get the original out to get past it.
