NEC 1300A writing issues
Hi gotta make this quick, but the last file backup DVDs I have made have been giving me problems as many of the files I back up no longer work after I burn them to my dvd.
Lots of DVDs of TV series and divx no longer work when I try to run them from the disc and give me CRC errors when I try to copy them to my hdd. The last couple I burned I used the check errors function in nero express and it said write error on many of the files! This is very frustrating as I have lost a lot of irreplacable stuff that I have burned and deleted.... Funny thing is I have burned lots of DVDs that work but only the last 10 or so I have had problems with. The drive is about 5 months old and i have burned maybe 60-70 dvds. did you start using a different brand of dvd? i would try a different brand

I use shintaros, I have always used shintaros and the ones that dont work are from the same batches of discs that I bought.
I just updated the firmware and burned another disc and I got the same problem again... errors for some files in NERO... like 12:28:27 AM #38 VERIFYERR 6 File UDFCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 5946 Read error on CD file Wonderful Days.avi Makes the files unaccessible... Really confused!! Marcus.
