DVD and NON DVD Games

I understand that if i want to rip a DVd game then i need a DVD burner to do this. ( is this right )
If so then what is the bes burners for this and what kind of cost would these be?
Also can i use normal blank CD's or do i need blank DVD discs?
Much appreciated
Thanks

There are just to much to explain when it comes to ripping dvd games, each gane is different so the best bet as far as learning is to go to www.ps2ownz.com and start with Go-kuns dvd rip tutorial just to get the general idea on ripping then advance to the harder games. Also check out ####://uk.geocities.com/backupcentraluk/frameset.htm. Good luck.

Adding to Woodmaster101's advice: If you have a DVD Burner (Pioneer A03 with Veritas PRimoDVD software) then you can copy DVDs and boot as per the DVD Boot method published on psxcopyworld.co.uk or sgt-dan.com or ps2.ownz.com.

Otherwise you need a CD burner and aim to squeeze it into 650MB.
