Question can a burned disk have copyright protection?

I just wanted to know is it possible for you to burn a disk on one burner and then not be able to reburn it because of some type of protection that may have came from the other burner?

I'm using cloneDVD and at 85% I get an error message saying?

Thats more than likely a bad block due to a scratch.

is there anyway to locate the where exactly the bad block is and just not read that portion of the disk? In cloneDVD? by the way dvd shrink closes as soon as i pop the disk in the drive saying abnormal something right away no reading at all.

Install "DVD Decrypter" and set it to file mode, then decrypt all files and when it reachs to the file with bad block, you'll get read errors.
you can set dvd decrypter to ignore errors or simply skip the file if it's not one of main movie VOB files then you can import these files to CloneDVD.

Why not just use the original instead of all the headache?

You could also try using a 'scratch repair' kit which are widely available...have used my own with good success in the past.
