Best way to backup games????

i wanted to ask if somebody could tell me which way is the best to backup a ps2 game?

i'm currently using nero 6.0.making an image on harddrive and then burn it onto a dvd-r!!

another question would be about the media,which media should be used and which things are to be concerned???

Well this is what I use an i've never had a problem.

Program :- RecordnowMax (Sometimes Nero6..same way as you)
Dvdr's :- Verbatim (Ritek G03+04 are recommended but don't work so good for me)
