Help with rar speed devils and cannon spike

I am having a little trouble with speed devils, and Cannon Spike. I have downloaded all the .rar file, but when I try to open the rar it tells me that it cannot find the archive. When I go into winrar, and select the file and choose repair it says that it found the .cdi, and has repaired the archive. I then try to extract the files, and no go. same error. I downloaded win-sfv32, and it checked the files, and said everything was fine with the files. Is there anything that any of you can think of that I should try. I do not want to download the files again, as I beleive the files are fine. If anyone has had anything similar to this happen to them let me know what you had to do.

did you get rid of the damaged rar and rename the repaired one to the "exact" name that it was?..
if you left the repaired rar as _reconst.rar then it will not work...
